Villa Thai Teak is an expansive mountainside vacation residencereminiscent of well-kept and maintained ancestral summer rest houses belonging to generations of society’s most affluent families. Throughout the villa, the predominant motif is traditional luxury as seen in the elegant appointments, fine furnishings and the tasteful interior decor. Especially with its enviable vantage point that affords you spectacular views of the open sea and of magical sunsets, Villa Thai Teak lets you experience the kind of living that may be reserved only for the privileged few.
The villa has a total of five spacious bedrooms. Three are within the villa and the other two are separate suites on both wings of the property. All bedrooms have dedicated bathrooms with showers and tubs. One of the villa bedrooms and both garden suites open out to covered terraces and have direct access to the pool area.
The 11-meter infinity pool is at the center of the villa’s outdoor area. As you wade leisurely in its cool waters, linger by the pool’s edge for an unobstructed and panoramic view of the ocean. The breathtaking seascape leaves you spellbound even as you enjoy your favorite drink by the pool bar, lounge about on the beanbags, on the table set up, and on the pool beds. Or as you stare out from the semi-open sala built on the very edge of the mountain.
On the villa’s semi-open upper floor is the living area with cushioned wooden furniture. Here, you can all gather to share the day’s stories. At the other end is the dining area with a table good for eight where you can all sit around and savor satisfying vacation fare. Perhaps a conversation piece is the small fountain or pond between the living and dining areas. Through sliding wood-framed glass doors, both areas also open out to balconies overlooking the picturesque scenery.
A multilingual guest manager, a housekeeper, a chef, a groundsman and 24/7 security personnel make up the villa’s fulltime on-site staff.
Villa Thai Teak is located in Nathon – Koh Samui’s capital town. During your stay, reserve your Saturday evening for a stroll through the Nathon Market or Walking Street. Here, you can get to sample a buffet of Thai street food as well as shop for local goods, clothes and souvenirs at the many market stalls. You can also explore the waterfront where you’ll discover more dining as well as coffee options. Thai treasures as well as inventive and eco-friendly souvenirs and presents – at better prices – can be found at Little Buddha Aromatherapy, Thai Winery House and Souvenirs as well as at Khunchan Furniture and Home Decor.
10/10Highly suggest the Thai Teak Villa for anyone traveling to Koh Samui. The view was unbelievable and the house staff was amazing! Highly recommend having them cook you dinner.. pineapple fried rice is a must! The rooms were perfect and there's plenty of room throughout the entire place even though we really only stayed out by the pool which was awesome as well! The house is definitely secluded on a very steep hill which was the only down fall of this place. The house has a taxi service you can use, as not many people are willing to drive up the hill, but it does get pretty pricey. The cheapest trip is $60 round trip to Naton which is the town at the bottom of the hill. May want to consider renting a car depending on what your plans are while in Koh Samui. Otherwise, this place is absolutely amazing and the owner and vacation planners are very nice and helpful! Would definitely stay here again and rent a car! :)
