Dense forestry wrap around this sophisticated holiday home, so you’ll feel like you’re miles away from the crowds in your very own oasis. But that doesn’t mean that the villa is isolated - the nearest restaurant is less than a 10-minute drive away, and a variety of local amenities and attractions are easily within reach. With three impeccably furnished bedrooms, Villa Melo U is best suited for families and travelling parties of six.
Just like the common spaces, all three bedrooms feature a simple colour scheme, air conditioned interiors and contemporary furnishings and fixtures. Two of the rooms are fitted with king beds, ceiling fans, flat screen TVs, ambient blue lights and en suite bathrooms, and open out to a sun-soaked balcony. The third bedroom features a queen bed, desk with computer screen and adjoining bathroom.

Our favourite feature is the infinity pool that hugs close to the edge of the compound. From the pool, you’ll take in spectacular views out to a picture-perfect landscape made up of swaying palms, emerald forestry and the ocean. When you’re done with taking a dip, sink back against the white-and-turquoise recliners for a lazy sunbathing session complete with cocktails.
Ascend the steps from the parking lot to access the living spaces of Villa Melo U. Chic and stylish are words that best describe the villa’s modern interior. Featuring all-white walls and flooring, contemporary pieces coloured in earthy hues and sleek fixtures, this holiday home is designed for the traveller who appreciates a trendy and minimalist home.
Push back the bi-folding doors to create an indoor-outdoor area where you can melt into your sofa while taking in the warm tropical breezes. The indoor lounge flows seamlessly into the dining area and open kitchen outfitted with gorgeous white cabinets, and the pool is just steps away from the common spaces. A gym, located below the pool comes with all the equipment you need to catch up on your fitness regime. Shared access is available for guests residing within the estate, which extends out to include Villa Melo L.
Villa Melo U offers a full range of housekeeping services to meet all your holiday needs. A personal chef is available to prepare homemade meals for your entire travelling party at additional cost. Massage services, along with car and motorbike rentals are available at request, and your villa manager will readily assist with any other enquiries you may have.
A variety of popular attractions are dotted all around the villa: Coral Cove Beach is an eight-minute drive from your villa, Chaweng Noi Beach is a six-minute drive away, as are Lad Koh View Point and Jungle Club Restaurant.
Further north lies Chaweng Beach, located an 18-minute drive from your villa. The venue is known for its vibrant party scene, thanks to crowd favourites like Cha Cha Moon, Ark Bar and Bar Solo. But it’s not all beach clubs and parties - the vicinity contains family-friendly venues too, and places that come with our recommendations include Coast Beach Bar & Grill, Stacked Samui, The Beach Club and the Central Festival shopping complex. Soak up the laidback vibes after dinner at Bar @ C, On Street Bar and Legends Bar, or explore the bustling night market of Chaweng walking street.
10/10Moritz was very welcoming and helpful even before we arrived at his beautiful villa. We appreciated him organizing transport for us when we arrived and when we left - highly convenient. The villa itself is modern, clean & comfortable to relax in (which is exactly what my husband & I were looking forward to for the end of our honeymoon). The views surrounding the villa are spectacular & its location provides for some tranquility. Moritz also provided a mobile phone for us with some useful contacts, especially when it came to transport as we needed to use those for our trips to Chaweng etc. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying at Villa Melo.

10/10Great place to spend your vacation! Enjoy the magnificent view from the Villa and an incredible sunrise each morning directly from your bedroom. Extremely clean and tidy, but still with everything you could need this place offers a unique sense of decorating taste.
